We accept payments made with all major debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club. We also accept payment via PayPal and offer financing options via PayPal Credit in the US. 

We take the security of your personal and payment information incredibly seriously. Our site is certified Level 1 Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant. Defined by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, the PCI DSS was created to increase controls around credit card data to reduce credit card fraud via its exposure.

FATES new york pieces are each made-to-order, meaning that we only begin creating them once you place your order. We allow for order cancellation up until production begins; after that point, we can no longer accept cancellations. We try to get each order into production within the first few hours after placement, so please notify us at hello@fatesny.com as soon as possible if you do intend to cancel yours.

FATES thoughtfully combines cutting edge 3D printing technology with centuries-old casting and hand working techniques. This means minimizing waste, while preserving the craftsmanship and personal attention to detail on every single item we create.

We are also proud to use only conflict-free metals in the creation of each piece we sell. 

Your brass jewelry will naturally tarnish over time from exposure to oxygen, sulfur, and moisture in the environment and air. Tarnish actually seals and protects underlying layers of metal, but isn't always a good look for jewelry. 

The best way to address tarnishing is to take active steps to prevent it in the first place. To delay the process, avoid exposing your FATES jewelry to creams, soaps, and water in general. Remember to remove jewelry before washing your hands or showering and, in particular, before entering a pool. Pool chlorine can permanently discolor and damage jewelry metals. You can also apply a thin layer of clear nail polish to further delay tarnishing.

To remove tarnishing, we recommend using a jewelry polishing cloth in combination with a brass polish. A baking soda and lemon juice paste can also do the trick in place of a commercial polish. 

When you're not wearing your jewelry, store it in the FATES new york zip-top pouch included with your jewelry. This pouch is designed to reduce exposure to moisture in the air and to protect your pieces against scratches. It's also great for traveling with your jewelry.
